eITT- Supply and Installation of Festive Lighting for Fareham Town Centre

Fareham Borough Council is tendering for the procurement of a new festive lighting scheme for Fareham Town Centre. This will include installation, maintenance, repair, testing and storage. The contract will commence 18th August 2018 and will run for 5 years. When considering a replacement scheme for Fareham Town Centre, there are five important factors; 1. Cost - The level of expenditure in the current economic climate 2. The scheme design must be appropriate for a medium sized market town 3. Design - The scheme must aesthetically suit or be designed for lighting columns throughout the town centre that vary in size. 4. The lighting / motifs must be of a sufficiently robust construction to last a minimum of 5 years and; 5. The festive lighting scheme must appear to have an integral fitting to the lighting columns i.e. the preferred option is that you use the arm which is part of the column design, or some other carefully designed method which then appears to be an integral part of the column, the lights must not be fitted with metal banding.
