24112 Further competition under TPPL Framework Fleet Rental Lot 4 for the Supply of Vehicles for Adult Social Care and Children Fleets

This is a further competition using The Procurement Partnership Framework Fleet Rental ref TPPLCSKL03 Lot 4 Car and Light Commercial vehicle long-term and flexible rental. The Authority proposes to enter into one contract for an initial period of forty-eight (48) months with the successful Supplier. There will be an option to extend for a further maximum period of twenty-four (24) months.

The Authority is seeking to procure a service that offers a suitable and flexible fleet vehicle supply solution covering short, medium and long-term requirements. Our goal is to obtain/maintain a fleet of Nineteen (19) wheelchair-accessible vehicles of various sizes and models, and three (3) additional vehicles to support Adult Social Care and Children's transport needs including home-to-school transport. The outcome is to secure a core fleet of vehicles, where drivers are employed to deliver services, with additional vehicles being brought in on the short and medium-term hire options to manage and meet demand whilst providing the best value for money.
