## Description

Medway Council Public Health team are seeking a provider of point of care testing \(POCT\) devices to GP surgeries who are engaged with the NHS Health Check programme in Medway\. The proposed solution must include: • 54 POCT devices to be supplied to GP Practices \(number includes branch sites\) • Devices to provide total cholesterol \(TC\) and TC/HLD ratio readings, as a minimum • Initial distribution/delivery of devices within agreed timescales • Initial delivery to include the required consumables for at least 20 tests • Initial training on use of the device to be provided to practice staff within agreed timescales • Provision of manufacturer's instructions for use and guidance on maintaining the machine • On-going technical support for the duration of the contract • On-going training support for the duration of the contract • Clear process for accessing technical and training support \(e\.g\. service desk, telephone number, email address\) • Processes for re-ordering of consumables • Internal quality control checks, to include a minimum of a daily 'go, no go' test • IQC record keeping/log sheets provided • All 54 devices to be registered with an External Quality Assurance Scheme Out of Scope • Blood glucose/ HbA1c testing • Record keeping
