Work description

CPI is seeking to appoint several qualified and experienced Contractors to provide external Human Resources (HR) investigation services.

The Contractors must be experienced and competent in external HR investigations and be able to handle sensitive and complex HR-related cases in an impartial, thorough, and professional manner.

The Contractor must be able to travel and attend all of CPI's site, if required to do so when conducting the investigations. CPI's sites are outlined below: -

1 Union Square, Central Park, Darlington, DL1 1GL

Medicines Manufacturing Innovation Centre,1 Netherton Square, Paisley, PA3 2EF

Durham Way South, Aycliffe Business Park, Newton Aycliffe, DL5 6XN

The Neville Hamlin Building, Thomas Wright Way, Sedgefield, TS21 3FG

The Coxon Building, John Walker Road, Sedgefield, TS21 3FE.

The Catalyst, 3 Science Square, Newcastle Helix, Newcastle-upon-Tyne, NE4 5TG

Liverpool Science Park, Mount Pleasant, Great Orford St, Liverpool L3 5TF; and

Stirling House - Cambridge Park North, Denny End Road, Waterbeach, Cambridge, CB25 9PB,

The Contractor is asked to note that the first six buildings in this list are CPI's main business hubs. The locations needed to be attended could also include different hotels or meeting places in the area.

CPI will inform the Contractors of the location of any investigation. The Contractor will be expected to arrange their own transport and suitable accommodation if required.

The Contractor is asked to that there may be occasions investigation may take place in a neutral venue.

Investigations may include the following areas but are not limited to:

Allegations of workplace harassment or discrimination (Gender, Racial, Religious etc)

Employee misconduct or violations of company policies

Whistleblower complaints

Retaliation claims

Unethical behaviour or breaches of integrity

Violations of laws and regulations

CPI are looking to create a Framework agreement, which will see up to six organisations appointed to the framework to conduct these investigations.

The Framework will last for a period of 4 years in total, this will be broken down to a primary period of 36 months, with a possible 12-month extension.
