The MHRA needs specialised validated suppliers of microbiological and sterility testing following validated current pharmacopoeial methods, such as those in the European Pharmacopoeia or the United States Pharmacopoeia, including sterility and preservative efficacy testing, total aerobic microbial count / total yeasts mould count and test for specified micro-organisms
