DUD - Minor Works, Subsidence Works & Associated Works - AWARD

Dudley MBC invites tenders for all Minor Works, Subsidence Works and Associated Works. The requirements under this contract will vary over the course of the contract and is dependent upon the requirements of the Housing Department’s investment need.

It is likely that works, will include: -

1) Replacement of the existing masonry retaining structures. 2) Demolition of an existing retaining structure and install a gabion retaining structures. 3) External crack stitching works. 4) Vacant property refurbishment including replacing the existing concrete internal floors with a new reinforced concrete floor. Taking down and rebuilding the non-load bearing internal walls. Kitchen and bathroom fittings replacements. Re-plastering, replacement of the existing timber floors, replacement of the existing internal doors and linings. 5) Providing trial pits for engineers further investigations. 6) Replacement of multi-occupancy blocks communal concrete floors with a reinforced concrete floor. 7) Demolish existing external structures or extensions ready for replacement. 8) Building new external structures inclusive of new foundations, walls and roof. 9) Replacement of doors and windows. 10) Various sizes of concrete and render repairs. 11) Various brickworks repairs. 12) Drainage testing and replacement. 13) Tree removals. 14) Roof replacements and repairs. 15) Metal balcony replacements and masonry balcony repairs. 16) Gornal stone wall repairs. 17) Asbestos administration inclusive of sampling, testing and removals and disposals. 18) Scaffolding

In addition there may be other types of work such as shallow or deep foundation piling, pre-cast concrete retaining structures and structural roof repairs. Such works shall be specially designed for the property
