Provision of retrospective direct award

As the Government moves into Phase 2 of the crisis, departments must urgently prepare their longer-term response, including integrated, scenario-based planning to the end of the year. Departments will continue to need assurance and support to do so at pace, whilst ministers, strategists and policy-makers will continue to need cross-cutting analysis of delivery. The PMO will need to continue to evolve to meet this need.

Building on the progress made to date our objectives going forward are:

- Support departments to plan towards the end of the year - Ensure departments are prepared for a range of scenarios - Provide incisive x-portfolio analysis to inform planning, delivery and strategy - Where required, unblock delivery with analysis, coordination and re-planning

The Contract will provide support across three areas:

- Support and assurance for planning a prioritised sub-set of projects within the portfolio - Cross-portfolio analysis and support to ensure coherence and Support for delivery for specific projects or groups of projects as required
