566 - Seasonal Flu Vaccinations

Wigan Council are currently exploring the market for the provision of a Seasonal Flu Vaccine Service for Council Staff and targeted frontline workers across Health and Social Care. We will require the provider to deliver a flexible service aimed at Council staff, with a targeted approach to prioritise frontline key workers and those who are carers, plus staff from across Housing with Care services, Day Services, Homeless and Rough Sleepers and those working in Wigan and Leigh Hospice. The Council are seeking a provider to deliver this service as detailed below. \r \r The vaccination programme will be delivered between 1st September 2024 - 31st December 2024 to maximise the effectiveness of the vaccine. Any additional 'mop-up' vaccinations can be extended into January 2025.
