## Description

The Department for Transport \(DfT\) invites tenders for the replacement of the emergency back-up generator at the International Maritime Organization, London\. The particulars of the requirement are as follows\. • Site location: International Maritime Organization, 4 Albert Embankment, Lambeth, London, SE1 7SR • Nature and objectives of the works : Make safe, decommission, disconnect and complete the removal and disposal of the existing generator set and its associated components\. Subsequently, complete the installation of a replacement generator including associated ventilation, electrical, fire detection, fire suppression, demolition, construction works testing and commissioning\. The project is to be delivered within time and within budget\. • Construction estimate: £400k • Construction period: 4th Sept - 13th October 2017 • Procurement route: Competitive tender advertised on Contracts Finder and managed through the AWARD tendering portal\. \(Suppliers must email Amaan\.hardoyal@dft\.gsi\.gov\.uk to register on AWARD\) • Contract: NEC3 Option A ALL BIDS TO BE RECEIVED NO LATER THEN NOON ON 23 JUNE 2017 VIA THE AWARD E-TENDERING PORTAL\.
