## Description

Cornwall Council, on behalf of the Tamar Bridge and Torpoint Ferry Joint Committee seeks to appoint a suitably experienced and qualified cleaning contractor to undertake both routine and deep cleaning of the Torpoint Ferry shore infrastructure at required intervals\. This includes, on the Torpoint side of the river Tamar, the main office block, an amenities block consisting of male and female changing rooms, showers and toilets, the Health and Safety office portacabin, and the staff rest/mess room; and on both sides of the river, the control towers and public toilets\. The appointed contractor will be expected to provide all materials and equipment associated with the scope of work detailed within the specification, and a robust management and quality assessment and control regime\. This new contract is intended to operate for an initial period of 12 months, form the beginning of October 2019, with an option to extend for a further 12 months subject to satisfactory performance and ongoing agreement to the Terms and Conditions governing the Contract\. To enable potential bidders to better understand the scope of cleaning services required, view the buildings and rooms concerned, and provide an opportunity to ask questions and clarify any issues or concerns ,it is intended to hold a Supplier Information Day, to be held at the Torpoint Ferry Offices on Tuesday July 30th, 2019, commencing from 10am\. Although not mandatory, it is highly recommended that interested parties attend but please note, in the first instance it will be necessary to limit the number of attendees to a maximum of 2 personnel per organisation\.\.
