Work description
Buckinghamshire Council are using the Crown Commercial Service Framework Ref: RM3821 under Lot5b (Academic Scheduling and Management Solutions) to retender the Adult Learning Management Information System.
Buckinghamshire Adult Learning (BAL) is the adult education delivery arm of Buckinghamshire Council (BC). BAL provides inclusive learning opportunities to promote wellbeing and inspire people living or working in Buckinghamshire to achieve their potential. BAL is the main provider of part-time learning opportunities for adults in Buckinghamshire, graded 'good' by Ofsted in November 2019. A broad programme of taught courses, workshops and online learning is delivered from almost 140 locations across the county including dedicated Adult Learning centres, schools, community and employer premises. There are around 70 users of the Management information system (MIS), with varying levels of permissions of access BAL currently use the system to record all learner data and make individual learner record (ILR) data returns to the Education and Skills Funding Agency (ESFA) on a monthly basis, this system is hosted in the 'Cloud'. BAL is now seeking to procure a provider to provide a management information system (MIS) on a hosted environment. The contract will be awarded initially for 3 years with a possibility to extend for a further two one year extensions (i.e. 3 + 1 + 1)
