## Description

The Money and Pensions Service \(MaPS\) is seeking an experienced agency familiar with appropriate economic modelling and forecasting to develop a new forecasting approach for need and demand for debt advice\. The expectation is that the model will follow a structure along the following broad lines: A\) Macro-economic > B\) Financial distress > C\) Triggers for advice > D\) Actual Demand for Debt Advice These four areas would cover/include: - Macro-economic context: inflation, unemployment, GDP, consumer confidence, interest rates etc\. - Financial distress: credit volume, credit cost & credit quality / arrears, akin to "Need for Debt Advice"\. - External Indicators and triggers of advice seeking: Google searches for "debt advice", CCJs, etc\. - Demand for Debt Advice\.
