University of Sunderland - Provision of Fire Stopping Surveys

The University seek to appoint a contractor to survey the Fire Compartmentation across the both Student Accommodation Buildings (18 No.) and Office and Teaching Buildings (23 No.). Scope to include the following: -

Works

Fire Compartmentation Surveys o Physical inspection of fire compartments within each building with photographs of any breaches o An inspection of existing fire seals applied to service penetrations through compartment lines o An assessment of the materials used to seal existing penetrations from existing services o An inspection of any damage to the fire compartment lines that will reduce the effectiveness of the fire compartment

Details of the Buildings and Drawings are within the Tender Documents

Fire Strategy Drawings

o Identification of all lines of compartmentation within the buildings o Production and annotation of plans for each building in a CAD & PDF format

It is anticipated that the required works are to be completed by Easter 2020
