## Description

"Introduction The Defence Medical Services \(DMS\) Picture Archiving and Communication System/Radiology Information System \(PACS/RIS\) provides an integrated information capability for recording radiology images and patient/examination data, including reporting, reviewing, updating and archiving X-ray, CT, ultrasound and other medical images produced in deployed, firm base and external \(non-MoD\) medical facilities\. The current system comprises IMPAX RIS and the core PACS at the Centre for Defence Radiology \(CDR\) and 4 deployable PACS laptops\."
