GB-Edinburgh: Hire of Liferafts and Lifejackets

The Northern Lighthouse Board vessels NLV Pole Star and NLV Pharos require a 3 year hire contract to supply serviced and maintained lifesaving appliances on-board its vessels.

All equipment supplied must be SOLAS and MED approved and satisfactory to the MCA to allow an MCA safety equipment certificate to be issued.

All liferafts supplied should fit and be compatible with the current stowage/launching arrangements. Lifesaving appliance certificates are required to be delivered to the vessels when the liferafts and lifejackets are delivered on-board.

Additional information: The contracting authority considers that this contract may be suitable for economic operators that are small or medium enterprises (SMEs).
