## Description

The solution must ensure that the Cam pumping station is compliant with or exempt from the Eels \(England and Wales\) regulations 2009\. The benefits of the solution must be greater than the costs, so that it is economically viable\. A solution compliant with the Eels regulations would help protect the European Eel and fulfil the Environment Agency's legal responsibility as the asset owner\.
