GB-Burton Upon Trent: Washlands Central Area Enhancements

East Staffordshire Borough Council is seeking to award a contract for landscape works, followed by a three-year (3) establishment maintenance contract, for works within the Washlands in Burton Upon Trent. The works include: creation of wetland habitat including excavation/clearance and planting; installation of boardwalk and riverside platform including Contractor's design; installation of play equipment; installation of bins, benches and signage; hard landscaping and surfacing; tree and ornamental planting and seeding/turfing.

A full specification of requirements is included in the procurement documents.

The budget for the landscape works is a maximum of £1,700,000 and any bids above this amount will not be considered.

Additional information: The contracting authority considers that this contract may be suitable for economic operators that are small or medium enterprises (SMEs). However, any selection of tenderers will be based solely on the criteria set out for the procurement.
