Provision of a Combined Heat and Power (CHP) Unit for Medina Leisure Centre, Isle of Wight

The Isle of Wight Council ("the Authority") invites Tenders from suitably qualified suppliers ("Potential Suppliers") for the provision of a new combined heat and power (CHP) unit for Medina Leisure Centre and a subsequent service agreement.

This procurement follows the Open Procedure under the Public Contract Regulations 2015.

The contract will be in two phases: Phase one: for the decommissioning of the existing CHP unit, and the supply and installation of a new CHP unit, and Phase two: a maintenance contract for a period of up to 15 years. The term of the contract shall be 29th October 2019 until 29th November 2019 for the decommissioning and supply and installation element; thereafter the second element will be a fifteen-year maintenance agreement from 30th November 2019 up to 29th November 2034, but with 5 yearly break clauses in place. NOTE: that the contract has been listed as Services but is in fact a combination of Services and Works.
