## Description

The University of Salford is making a major investment into modernising the building infrastructure and equipment at its School of Computing, Science & Engineering\. This project has been part funded by the European Regional Development Fund \(ERDF\) and the Higher Education Funding Council for England \(HEFCE\), and a number of opportunities will arise around both construction and provision of technical equipment for various laboratories\. A requirement now exists in the School of Computing, Science & Engineering to procure a microscopy system suitable for the capture and examination of images covering a wide range of engineering and science related applications\. The lowest value has been declared at £25,000 but the University does not know at this stage what the actual value might be\.
