Somerset County Council \(SCC\) is seeking interest from organisations that would like to provide Care and Support at Home for Adults in Somerset\. The service will include: ? Care and Support at Home \(including a carer response service and night service\) ? Short Term Intensive Reablement ? Integrated Care and Support in 2 Extra Care Housing Schemes ? Care and Support at Home and incidental care in 18 Extra Care Housing Schemes\. SCC is intending to run a procurement process in early 2016\. Additional information: THIS RELATES TO A PRIOR INFORMATION NOTICE\. THIS IS NOT AT THIS STAGE A CONTRACT OPPORTUNITY\. Care and Support at Home Services in Somerset Somerset County Council \(SCC\) is seeking interest from organisations that would like to provide Care and Support at Home services in Somerset and is intending to run a procurement process from early 2016\. This includes reablement, longer term care and support, carer response, night services and services in extra care housing schemes for older people and those with physical or mental impairment or illness\. Home care support for learning disability services will be excluded\. Provider Involvement Event ? 27th January 2016 Interested providers are invited to attend a Provider Involvement Meeting with Somerset County Council\. The event will be an opportunity to meet with Stephen Chandler, the new Director of Adult Services / Lead Commissioner and to discuss the proposed new model for Care and Support at Home in Somerset Due to the venue size, we ask that no more than two representatives attend from each organisation\. Organisations that take part will not be advantaged or disadvantaged in any way in any potential future formal procurement\. Commercial confidentiality will be respected\. This notice does not represent a formal commitment by the Council to undertake a procurement procedure\. Event Details Date Wednesday 27th January 2016 Time: 2\.00p\.m\. - 3\.30p\.m\. Venue: Temple Methodist Church, Upper High Street, Taunton ,TA1 3PY Important: Please note that the above time and venue are different from that advertised in OJEU PIN 2016/S 016-024130 published on 23rd January 2016\. Due to unforeseen circumstances it was necessary to change the time and venue at short notice\. If you are unable to attend the event the presentation and minutes will be available through the e tender system ProContract\.
