Provision of Insurances

Description

The City Council wishes to procure insurance covers for the period from 1st April 2020. You are invited to tender for either/both a three year and/or a five year period. Attached are a schedule of the covers required with excesses stated. Also attached is a schedule of claims made over the last five year period. Further relevant information: - Estimates Salary payments in 2020-21 exc.NI & pension contributions - £1,214,371 Estimated Employee Numbers 2020-21 - 74 head count, 59.5 F.T.E. Number of Councillors - 24 Volunteer hours required (exc. Councillors) - 140 The timescales for the tender process are as follows: - Tender Placed - 7th February 2020 Deadline for Questions/Information Requests - 18th February 2020 Deadline for Response to Questions/Information Requests - 25th February 2020 Deadline for receipt of Tenders - 4th March 2020 Tenderers will be notified of the outcome on the 11th March 2020 Commencement of Cover - 1st April 2020
