Description
This contract is for Domestic Solid Wall Insulation Innovation (SWIi). Durham County Council and Durham University Energy Institute have applied for funding from The European Regional Development Fund to fund the delivery of a solid wall insulation (SWI) innovation project in domestic properties in fuel poor communities across Durham. Durham County Council Durham and Durham University Energy Institute are looking into a potential tender exercise to put in place an Innovation Solid Wall Insulation Project. The maximum budget (including all variations/contingencies) is £2.142 million.Funding The Council is currently in the process of submitting an ERDF (European Regional Development Funds) application for the funding to enable delivery of this Project. At present the Council has submitted an application for funding to ensure the delivery of the scope and achievement of the strategic objectives. Should the Council be unsuccessful in obtaining ERDF funding the Project will not go ahead, (unless an alternative funding source is identified). Progression of this procurement exercise and any award of this contract opportunity will be conditional on confirmation of the Council confirming receipt of the for funds from ERDF being successful. The top 5 Scoring bidders who pass the relevant stages of the SQ and scoring over 60% will be invited to the Tender Stage
