Work description
The scope of this procurement comprises the appointment of two teams of EAs to support the future delivery of approximately 235-350 new homes across 22 Council land assets.
The EA role is to start from the project inception stage, advising on pre-tender planning (including packaging of sites), finance, contractual and other issues, working closely with the framework manager (if that is determined the recommended route), the Council's Procurement team and the Client in the preparation of the specification and contract documentation (RIBA STAGES 0-4). This initial pre-construction design stage will require the services of the Project Manager and Quantity Surveyor; thereafter during the Construction stage, once the contractor is appointed (RIBA stages 5-7) the EA input will also include the additional key roles identified including PM, QS, Party Wall Assessor and Clerk of Works as necessary.
This is a call-off via the Scape Consultancy Framework under an NEC Option G Term Service Agreement.
