Mansfield District Council Programmed and Responsive Kitchen Replacement Programme

Mansfield District Council have recently completed the Decent Homes programme and are looking to continue development and upgrading of the councils Housing stock. As part of this on-going process the next phase of this work will be kitchen replacement based on Decent Homes standards. Generally this will be where kitchens will fail the Decent Homes Criteria within the next 4 years. Typically this will be where they are over 20 years old, have layout issues or are in poor condition There may also be situations where previous tenants have refused works and the property is now re-let.

Responsive replacement will be required in properties where previous tenants have refused works the property has become vacant and cannot be re-let without undertaking the kitchen replacement. The void period for such dwellings is max. 30 days
