Work description
A recent evidence review by the Environment Agency has identified large data gaps in relation to the uses, sources and mass emissions of PFAS in the UK. One of the recommendations of that report was that the Environment Agency should seek more information from the following industrial sectors where PFAS are likely to be used: - Cosmetics and personal care products - Paper and board (including food contact materials) - Textiles - Cleaning products - Paints and coatings (including printing inks) We now require a consultant to facilitate a productive level of engagement that delivers representative information for these sectors, based on a standard questionnaire format (to be provided). The resulting evidence base will be used to guide UK decision making about future regulatory interventions.
