Description
Under the Equality Act 2010, CPS is required to fulfil its commitment to equality and diversity in the workplace. As part of this commitment, training is provided in the use of assistive technology software to ensure that all staff have an equal opportunity to make best use of their IT equipment and to meet our legal requirements. This contract supports the CPS strategy to ensure CPS staff have the skills and tools they need to succeed. This training is offered to all staff across the CPS Estate, but it is funded centrally by Digital Information Directorate (DID). There is a requirement for both new users of the software, for refresher training as well as when new versions of software are introduced following central testing and release. The software is also to enable us to be compliant with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines 2.2 (WCAG).
