Somerset County Council are responsible for the management of public rights of way\. There are over 6000 km of public rights of way in Somerset with 4700\+ bridges and over 36,000 other structures and assets\. The Specification is to provide SCC with a number of standard bridge frames\. The specification as detailed represents the minimum requirements acceptable by SCC\.
