## Description

The University has already award contracts two Blocks on it's Manor Park Campus for Blocks P & Q and is now planning further construction work on the Manor Park Campus\. This notice therefore seeks expressions of interest from design and build Contractors for a student accommodation building, Block R\. Block R accommodation is 674 x Standard and enhanced Rooms with ensuite shower rooms \(about 19 750 m²\); including a laundry and communal study space\. 7 x rooms will be accessible bedrooms\. The accommodation Block is five storeys and will comprise of a concrete frame with flat slab and insitu concrete columns on a piled substructure, faced brickwork external walls including architectural recesses with trussed pitched roofs with slate tiles, together with on-site infrastructure works, road, balancing pond, sewers, external works and minor buildings\. The standard rooms are grouped into clusters of between 3 and 8 bedroom flats with communal kitchen and dining area\. The procurement route will be two stage design and build\.
