Healthy Start Scheme Payments

The Authority have appointed a supplier who is authorised and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) to provide a service to support their existing cards provider to deliver the Healthy Start Scheme Payments providing chip and pin, contactless enabled, Prepaid, top up, cards to Beneficiaries on behalf of the Authority's Sponsor the Department of Health and Social Care (DHSC). The Authority are digitising the Healthy Start Scheme and have started Private Beta in 2020, with the target of pre-paid cards being issued to Beneficiaries from early 2021. The Supplier will be expected to work with the Authority's Card Provider and the contract is novated to Xerox UK Ltd the current Card Provider following award.
