Contract to providea technical solution for the provision of the informationto createa Survey Certification Management System \(SCMS\)Librarytoprovide technical information from a variety of sources, bringing together all that applies to a given situation\.It provides the means for MCA surveyors to:-have access to international documentation such as Safety of Life at Sea \(SOLAS\) and EU directives-relates the statutory documents with internal guidance-provides timely technical advice to surveyors out of the office-responds with timely advice on urgent matters out of hours-provides reference to technical requirements to support judgements and responses to questions whilst onboard ships\.
