Statutory Advocacy Hub Services

Trafford Council is committed to providing a high quality, consistent and integrated Advocacy Hub Service. This service will play an important role in maximising people's independence and to promote control by the individual over their care and support and the way in which it is provided.

The primary role of the Hub will be to meet all statutory requirements of the council for the provision of independent advocacy under the terms of the:  Care Act 2014 (ICAA)  Mental Capacity Act 2005 including deprivation of liberty safeguards (IMCA, Paid RPR)  Mental Health Act 2007 (IMHA)  Health and social care act 2012- NHS complaints advocacy (ICA)

Once the documents have been downloaded and completed they must be uploaded back onto the chest by no later than 12.00pm (noon) on the 16th October, 2017.
