The purpose of this assessment it is to provide practical and readily accessible information and guidance which can contribute to the conservation and enhancement of the special characteristics of the Regional Park as a whole and to the distinctiveness of its particular character type. It should support an understanding of how the landscape has evolved and how to make informed decisions about how we should manage change in the future.
