RM6068 CES0148 RCDS (Royal College of Defence Studies) IT Refresh

RCDS is a part of the Defence Academy (DefAc) with its own corporate IT infrastructure and delivery requirements. RCDS underwent an Enhanced Security Environment (ESE) audit and wider IT health check in November 2020. The ESE review found several areas of non-compliance and it was recommended that remediation is actioned. Though some engagement with the remediation work has taken place, much of this has been delayed due to the COVID-19 pandemic, and the IT incident that occurred at DefAc.

The RCDS require support to deliver a refresh of on-site IT infrastructure. The RCDS require support to migrate IT services to Microsoft Azure Cloud, including review, design, and delivery. The RCDS require support to implement the security and monitoring services provided by the Defence Digital Security Operation Centre (DDSOC).
