Poole Harbour Farmscoper Project

This is a desktop project that will use Farmscoper modelling methodology, available information on regulatory, catchment management and other measures to determine nitrate-nitrogen loss from agricultural land in the Poole Harbour catchment. It will determine through further Farmscoper modelling what future measures or combinations of measures, to what scale and where would provide the most suitable options to achieve a nitrate-nitrogen load from agriculture appropriate to achieving the objective target on nutrient status for Poole Harbour as an SSSI, Natura 2000 site and WFD waterbody. The project includes use of a large geodatabase and updating the data on catchment land use from latest survey.
