## Description

The United Kingdom Atomic Energy Authority \(UKAEA\) was formed in 1954 when the UK Government set up a new body to oversee the nation's nuclear research programme\. UKAEA is a non-departmental public body \(NDPB\), under the Department for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy \(BEIS\)\. The Single Joint Test Rig is a test apparatus designed to ensure that the central limb joint design can be repeatedly assembled/disassembled remotely\. As part of this work the manufacture and assembly of a Central Limb Joint Assembly, Return Limb Joint Assembly and Base Adjuster are required\.
