Edgware Service Diversion Phase 1 - Installation of New Gas Supply Pipework

Description

Additional Works following on from initial scope works and date extension Works are emergency works to re-divert gas supply following service failure within the existing underground service tunnels. During these works risk of ground contamination was identified to the trenching route. To mitigate risk of contamination impacting on the works additional ground investigation was instructed. In addition it has been identified that other services are at risk within the underground trenches. A duct has been instructed to future proof the routing of new services while trenches are open. Not instructing the above would increase the risk of operatives and staff being exposed to contaminants.
