## Description

The Contract for Cleaning and Associated Services includes cleaning of about 90 buildings which include the Town Hall, Community Centres, Children and Nursery Centres, Libraries, Idea Stores , other general office accommodation, some park buildings, depots and public toilets in one park\. Cleaning services include, but are not limited to ,Routine Cleaning, Reactive Cleaning Service \(Emergency Response, Graffiti Removal, Bio Hazard – Body Spills\) Periodic and Specialist Cleaning, Stone and Marble Cleaning, Carpet Cleaning, Internal and External Window Cleaning, Feminine Hygiene, Air Fresheners, Clinical Waste and disposal, Consumables and any other Additional associated Cleaning Services Consumables are to be supplied as part of the Contract\. There may be variation to the numbers of buildings during the period of the Contract- and buildings may be added or reduced\. There are existing services in place and the contract may involve TUPE of approximately 130 employees\. Additional information: The Authority intends to procure this opportunity using a restricted procedure\. To gauge market interest and to brief the market on the draft proposals for the procurement the Authority wishes to undertake market engagement with potential bidders The briefing session will be held on 19th October 2016 at 9\.30 am at London Borough of Tower Hamlets, Mulberry Place, 5 Clove Crescent, London E14 2BG\. Interested parties can attend free of charge but must confirm their attendance by email to ilva\.cunka@towerhamlets\.gov\.uk by 12:00 Noon, 18th of October 2016\. London Borough of Tower Hamlets reserves the right to exclude any party who has not advised by this deadline\. The session is expected to last about 1hour and 30 minutes\. This PIN notice is indicative only of the Authority’s intentions and requirements for the procurement and is not a call for competition\. The Authority reserves the right to amend its requirements, which will be more definitive in the Contract Notice\.
