## Description

East Northamptonshire Council has been operating a food waste collection since August 2011\. The collection of food waste is an opt-in service where residents have the choice to present a 23 litre food waste bin\. For the year 2018 the weight of waste collected per month was approximately 220 tonnes for the whole district\. The Council requires a Contractor to receive quantities of collected food waste material and dispose of it\.
