Pre-Paid Cards 2024

Mini Competition to award a Prepaid Card Accounts Call-Off Contract to a sole Contractor. Contract for a prepayment card which is classified as a debit card, with no facility to go overdrawn. There will be two types of card- for single use, for one off or emergency purposes where we can distribute funds immediately, and multiple use cards, which the Council can top up with funds or withdraw funds as required. The cards will be used for direct payments for both Adult and Children's service users and will need to give flexibility for card holders which may include personal as well as assessed needs, including one off payments for immediate needs, short breaks, respite care, travel, equipment. The cards may also be used to give young people independence for their everyday living.
