20-39B Construction of National Brownfield Institute (NBI) -Award

NEC4 Construction Contract awarded via Pagabo National Framework Agreement for Major Works- Lot 1 (Contract Notice 2019/S 175-425464 & Contract Award Notice 2020/S 032-076421) for the National Brownfield Institute (NBI) at Springfield Campus.

Additional information: The University has been successful in applying for grant funding to develop the centre for the National Brownfield Institute (NBI) at the former Springfield Brewery site. This grant funding will be used to construct a new building on what was previously brownfield land and will enable the delivery of the project's regeneration outcomes and support the aims of the West Midlands region and the strategic economic plans of the Black Country LEP and the West Midlands Combined Authority.
