LDC-424 Entrepreneurial Culture Events

As part of a wider range of UKSPF funding programmes Lichfield District Council are working with partners on a series of funded support programmes for businesses and residents. Stoke and Staffordshire Growth Hub have secured a contract to provide a Business Advisor to meet with businesses based in Lichfield and offer a diagnostic to understand where that company needs support and signpost to opportunities.

Another partner will shortly be confirmed to be offering a workforce development programme which focuses on residents who are or have recently joined the unemployed figures in the district and/or are considered low skilled providing them with tailored training courses to increase their employability. This programme will look towards providing businesses based in the district with an opportunity to gain knowledge on a range of subjects from marketing to bookkeeping to legal to planning.
