Legal Representation to Act on Behalf of Sunderland City Council to Negotiate the Legal Documentation in Pursuant to an Agreement for Lease be Granted an Underlease of 9 or 10 Industrial Units

Description

Sunderland City Council ("the Council") will pursuant to an agreement for lease be granted an underlease of 9 or 10 industrial units at Hillthorn Business Park, with an institutional investor taking a headlease of those units granted out of the Council's freehold title. The Council will grant sub-underleases of those units to occupiers, and insofar as possible on a pre-let basis. The Council seeks external legal representation to act on its behalf to negotiate the legal documentation required in respect of these lettings, and to resolve prospective occupiers' title and other enquiries. As the entire estate is to be constructed, resolving those title and other enquiries may also entail providing advice to the Council on the estate management set up.
