## Description

The services provided under this contract will explore the potential to utilise video analytics to support with the validation of Stopped Vehicle Detection \(SVD\) technology which is currently in operation on All Lane Running \(ALR\) stretches of motorway\. In particular, these services will identify the processes and requirements required to carry out validation of radar SVD using video analytics, as well as producing a roadmap and design outlining how this could be implemented across all National Highways SVD schemes\. This Call-off Contract was awarded to Atkins Limited under Lot 5 of the National Highways Operational Technology Commercial Framework \(OTCF\)\.
