## Description

The L&D is to train 14 existing and newly recruited DWP Gold Commanders for Crisis Response\. Gold Commanders have a vital role in leading DWP\`s strategic response to serious disruptive incidents or crisis situations\. The bespoke DWP Crisis Response for Senior Leaders Training Course delivered by the Emergency Planning College \(Cabinet Office owned\) will further strengthen our crisis leadership capability to better protect DWP from significant threats and risks that could impact the Department\.
