Cambridge City Council - Grass Cutting Service

Cambridge City Council's Housing Service are procuring a company to deliver a grass cutting service for Cambridge City Council tenants, who are unable to complete the task themselves. Tenants in need of the service must satisfy an eligibility criterion, the tenants will be identified by Cambridge City Council and the details will be passed to the contractor to complete the work.

The maximum contract budget for service delivery is £11,000 per annum, with a total contract length for 4 years including extension period. The service will include grass cutting and edge trimming for up to 50 properties, between April and October annually, with a minimum frequency of 1 cut per month at 4 weekly intervals. The contractor will dispose of the cuttings in the tenant's own garden waste bin, the contractor is not required to dispose of it externally in any other way.
