Secondment of a Principal Capital Mechanical Engineering Consultant

Merseytravel would like to appoint a Principal Capital Mechanical Engineering Consultant on a secondment for an initial period of 12 months. Reporting to the Technical Services Manager, the post holder will oversee and support delivery of a wide programme of short and long term works including small and large infrastructure refurbishment and deliver the development and implementation of capital programme projects supported by the Senior Capital Mechanical Engineering Consultant, while meeting budget, quality, environmental, and health and safety standards. The post holder will also have a focus on staff development and the mentoring of junior members of staff and lifting their technical and wider skillsets.
