BT1575 Electric Family Cargo Bike

The council is starting a project that will focus on the use of e-cargo bikes that meet the EAPC regulations. The power assistance will help overcome hilly terrain as a barrier that is often identified to cycling in Luton. There will be two elements to the project, the first will focus on families, equipping them to replace some of their personal business vehicle trips with active travel. The second element will target point-to-point business deliveries within the local area.

We are looking for a supplier to provide an Urban Arrow electric cargo trike to support our hire scheme. This project will assist the town becoming net carbon neutral by 2040.
