The strategic aim of the Councils Revenues, Benefits and Welfare Service is to identify and support those households which are most vulnerable, limiting enforcement action to those who have the means to pay\. The improved use of expert data and intelligence software that Ascendant Solutions Ltd can supply is essential to provide a targeted approach and offer the right help and support to both residents and businesses\. The Ascendant solution is high quality and very specialist\. It can provide debt segmentation to structure the support we offer residents to pay their council tax bills\. The solution can also identify business poverty, knowing if a business is healthy or not, or is in risk of struggling in the future\. In line with the guidance for the CCS G Cloud 14 framework, a direct award will be made to this supplier\.
