Description
Background to Project JNCC is providing technical assistance to the Overseas Territory of Montserrat. This project aims to support the Government of Montserrat to; • Explore the impacts of different future scenarios of land use and environmental management in Montserrat on coral reefs to improve understanding of the natural capital linkages to support decision making. This project aims to build on previous projects and experience gained elsewhere in the Caribbean and South Atlantic Territories, to provide Montserrat with a tool to support terrestrial spatial planning and nature conservation gains, to gain a better understanding of natural capital linkages and inform better decision making around land-use management.
