Description
The Leicestershire Highway Design Guide (LHDG) provides guidance regarding highways and transportation infrastructure for new developments in areas for which Leicestershire County Council is the Highway Authority. The principal intention of having the LHDG is to have a consistent approach to development across Leicestershire. The LHDG also provides the basis for which the Council provides its observations on the highway aspects of planning applications to the district councils as local planning authority.
